Vines on the Marycrest

Established in 2005, Vines on the Marycrest is a boutique winery driven by a love of wine, music and art. Farming leads the way with vineyards of old vine zinfandel, tempranillo and Rhône varietals which are sustainably dry-farmed and head-pruned. Wines are award winning, handcrafted Zinfandel and Rhone Blends, (all named after popular songs) which capture the spirit of the Paso Robles appellation. Hand-crafted wines are produced in small lots.

Rotta Winery

Rotta Winery, founded in 1908 by the Rotta Family, is the only remaining family owned “original” winery in San Luis Obispo County. Mike Giubbini, grandson to the  Rotta Family & Mark Caporale of Napa, have combined  their talents to “bring back to life” the historic and rustic winery.

Today, Rotta Winery, just as in days of old, specializes in premium red and white wines along with flavorful and distinct dessert wines.

Renowned winemaker, Chris Cameron, joined the Ben Hogan Wine team in January 2009. Chris is an International winemaker with a dynamic career in the wine industry that spans over 30 vintages. He has a committed and passionate approach to all aspects of winemaking. Chris’s philosophical approach to winemaking can best be described as minimalist intervention. He feels that truly great wines are inherently dependent on the vineyard and the real art of winemaking is the ability to translate what’s on the vine to bottle. Structure and balance are the most critical components of a wine and each varietal released must be an accurate reflection of the style and the region.
